If you are a witness to, or victim of, a crime or accident, please call the police at telephone number 110 (no area code). Please explain the incident in as much detail as possible (who, what, when, where, etc.). Do not forget to leave your name, address and telephone number.
You should also call the police at #p110 in the event of a robbery. If your credit card or other bank-related items are stolen, please contact your bank or credit card company as soon as possible in order to block any illicit transactions. Please do not leave a lot of cash, jewels or other valuables at home.
When calling #p110 from a cellular phone, do not hang up or change your location until help arrives. Also, if calling to report an emergency, the police may need to contact you back, so leave your cell phone on after hanging up.

Tell the operator where the incident occurred and what kind of help is needed (e.g. fire or medical help, or both). In the case of a major fire, please be sure not only to tell the operator about situation, but also your neighbors. You should evacuate the area as quickly as possible.
